Registered Veterinary Technologist – VCA Canada Central Animal Hospital

VCA Canada Central Animal Hospital is welcoming a a full time Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our team. We are looking for a believer in providing a high quality veterinary medicine and patient care with the experience and technical know-how to make that happen. Someone who is a devoted team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and who takes enormous pride in developing relationships by speaking to clients like a trusted friend.

• Have completed a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program.

• Technical skills or knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.

• Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery

• Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records

• Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents

• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions

• Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents

• Passion to learn more within the role
