Description

We are a specialized food animal veterinary clinic in Saskatoon dedicated to supporting local farmers and producers.  Unlike traditional clinics, our focus is on providing on-site veterinary services, meaning animals do not come to our clinic.  We are committed to delivering comprehensive herd health management and consulting services directly to farms.  We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team, with a unique blend of technical skills  and office duty capabilities. As a Registered Veterinary Technician at our clinic, you will be responsible for both technical veterinary tasks and essential office duties.  This dual role is crucial in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.  You will play a key role in client communications, record keeping and assisting with the coordination of field services.  If you are an RVT who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical work and office responsibilities, this position is for you. Key Responsibilities: . Assist veterinarians with diagnostics support. . Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. . Perform administrative tasks such as inventory in/out and ordering supplies. . Support the team with data entry and analysis related to herd health management programs. . Assist in developing educational materials and resources for clients. . Ensure a clean and organized office environment. Qualifications: . Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification. . Stong organizational skills and attention to detail. . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. . Ability to work independently and as part of a team. . Proficiency with Microsoft Office . Comfortable with both technical and administrative tasks. . A valid driver's license and ability to assist with occasional field work if needed. What We Offer: . Competitive salary based on experience. . Comprehensive benefits package. . Opportunities for continuing education and professional development. . A balanced work environment with a mix of technical and office responsibilities. . A supportive and collaborative team atmosphere. . The chance to make a meaningful impact in the food animal industry without the typical clinic setting. Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and cover letter to Sandy Koskie, Office Manager, Warman Veterinary Services.  Please include "RVT Application" in the subject line. We appreciate the interest of all applicants; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Join our team and bring your skills to a unique veterinary setting where your expertise will help sustain and support Saskatchewan's vital agricultural community!
