We are looking for a Clinic Manager to join our progressive, mixed animal practice in Regina!
Sherwood Animal Clinic (SAC) by Mosaic Veterinary Partners (MVP) is looking to add to our team of exceptional staff. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, averaging a 40 hour week. Some availability to work after hours or a Saturday may be required.

The Job:
Duties for this position include: oversight of finance and budget, human resources, provision of client services, public relations, and accounting. Lead, coach, and direct a growing team while creating an environment of trust, respect, and enthusiasm. The Clinic Manager also plays a key role with Mosaic Veterinary Partners in evaluating clinic performance, optimizing business growth, and developing innovative marketing strategies. Under the guidance of the Regional Management team, the Clinic Manager performs a wide range of administrative activities related to the clinic which includes mentoring staff, leading the business operations and maintenance of the facility; ensuring the business growth and profitability of the clinic; assist in the formation of objectives and policies to ensure efficient and profitable clinic operations; and supporting the clinic’s mission of delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional client service. We expect our Clinic Manager to model an “owner” mentality in the clinic by demonstrating a willingness to assist all employees in making the practice a success.
The Ideal Candidate:
As our ideal Candidate, you have:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience; preferably in veterinary medicine, but we will consider medical, retail or human resource fields as well;
- Direct experience leading more than 10 employees;
- Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills combined with a positive team player attitude to enable our team to grow and flourish in a busy environment;
- Strong organizational skills which allow you to stay focused and work under pressure;
The Environment:
Clinic Manager’s can expect to spend a good part of their workdays at their own desk, some time at the front desk and some time assisting the veterinarians and RVT's. However, clinic managers need to have the physical strength and ability to stand for an entire shift when needed, and be able to lift pets and objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance. Each day is unique in this role. Our clinic manager must be prepared to work in a busy, fast paced environment!
Qualifications:
The position requires the completion of a high-school degree or further education, competence in the English language, patience, and a pleasant manner. Previous industry and leadership experience or certification relative to the veterinary profession would be an asset.
