Bridge City Veterinary Rehabilitation is a new, privately owned, innovative practice that opened in 2024 who is thrilled to announce we are growing. Our commitment to enhancing the well-being of animals is reflected in our comprehensive assessments and programs for our patients. Our focus is to provide veterinary rehabilitation to Saskatoon and the surrounding areas.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, a passion for rehabilitative care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Veterinary Technologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our veterinarian and enhancing the recovery and well-being of our patients.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday.
Wage: Starting at $22, commensurate on experience

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarian in the implementation of rehabilitative treatment plans for pets.
- Assist with physical therapy sessions, including hydrotherapy, laser therapy, and therapeutic exercises after formal training.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and response to treatment.
- Perform routine veterinary technologist duties, including blood draws, administering medications, and patient care.
- Educate pet owners on home care plans and rehabilitation exercises.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and equipment.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to all patients and their owners.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and handling client communications, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic, rehabilitation experience is not required.
- Basic knowledge of veterinary rehabilitation techniques and equipment is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with veterinary software and technology.
