The Saskatchewan Association of Veterinary Technologists has an award available to support emerging leaders in veterinary medicine in Saskatchewan.  The successful nominee must have been involved in community activities, volunteer work, or extra-curricular programs that support or promote the profession of Veterinary Technology; be a community leader; be a registered member of the SAVT; be a member in good standing; have graduated within the last ten (10) years; and demonstrate sustained leadership and initiatives.

The award will be presented at the November AGM and Conference Banquet program when possible.
